NDIDDS Design Contest coming!!!

Hi all!
I just wanted to let you know that Designs in Digital is having their annual design contest a little early this year, but I will let Lisa (CEO of Designs in Digital) explain it better :) :

What is NDIDDS?

NDIDDS = The Next Designs In Digital Design Star

NDIDDS is an annual 5 week digital design competition for novice and seasoned designers. The first week is a warm up/optional challenge and not required to be complete all who sign up as contestants. This is the third year of the competition.

Each week the challenges will be posted by Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. Completed weekly challenges must be submitted by Sunday at midnight and should be posted in the NDIDDS section of the gallery and forum with links to the downloads. Competitors need to select their own method of hosting their downloads (4shared, own web hosting, etc…)

Each week will be hosted by a different designer. Some will be hosted by DID designers while others will be hosted by guest designers.
All deadlines are posted on the forum calendar for everyone’s reference.

Completed challenges will be judged by a panel of designers and scores will be posted weekly. The judges will be looking at how well the criterion was met, quality, and originality.

There will be no eliminations.

What is the prize? Designs Spots here at Designs In Digital. In addition there are some wonderful prizes from Amanda Rockwell, Tiffany of Inspiredbydominic Designs, Ronda of Kiss This Designs ,

Oh and did I mention that the Grand Prize Winner will also receive a Wacom Bamboo Craft tablet !!!

Most importantly NDIDDS is about letting your creativity run wild!!

Hi! Thanks for stopping by! If you have visited my blog before you might notice that it has a new look. I felt that I needed a little change and I wanted to learn how to create my own background and this is the end result. It's made with some papers from my new kit "New Beginnings" and a few elements from an older kit called "Thoughts of Fall". I think it turned out pretty good for my first try!
Anyway, I have a new release at Designs in Digital (as I mentioned before :)) titled New Beginnings and it will be on sale through Saturday. It includes 13 papers, an alpha, and 31 embellishments!

I have a new kit at Designs in Digital. It's called Winter Wonderland and is as the title gives away a fun winter kit. It actually is a re-working of an older kit of mine with some old and some new things added. It has a cute snow "tear" bear and some fun snowmen and a bunch of other stuff for you to scrap winter moments!

Hi all! Wow it has been such a crazy month already!! I had my computer go on the fritz and is currently being repaired, got a cheap laptop and am trying to find all my links and bookmarks (such a pain). And I did win a spot at Designs in Digital!! Yay! Okay, so the great folks running NDIDDS threw us a great big curve ball on this last challenge. They decided to not give the last kit away as a freebie, without telling any of us contestants, or really even asking any of us what we thought. So I am offering a great big I AM SORRY!! to all of you waiting to download the last entry. I would have preferred it had been left as a freebie, but it is out of my control. Hi everyone! First, thanks so much to all of you for your comments!! I read each and every one and so appreciate them! Second, thanks for all the suggestions! They are all great! and I think I will keep some for future kits to make!! (especially loved the "star gazing" and "road trip" suggestions! Definately gonna do something with those!!) A few days ago my mom made a suggestion of a prince or princess theme, neither of which have I done before, so I started messing around with that in mind and, well I just kinda took off on it so I think I will be doing a kit called "The Prince and Princess" working with both boy and girl colors so the kit will be very versatile. I think I will give it a fairy tale spin and include a dragon and stuff like that. I have a bunch of ideas for papers and will post a preview for you asap!! Thanks again everyone!

Our next challenge we have to do a large kit, 20 papers and 50 elements. We have to pick the colors and theme. The papers are due thurs. the 28th and the elements are due by June 4th. Having problems with JustDigiLayouts?

I just wanted to let everyone know that if you are having problems getting JustDigilayouts to work for you to try deleting your cookies and temp. internet files and if that doesn't work, use Internet Explorer since JDL doesn't seem to want to play nice with Firefox. (I use FF and have a LOT of trouble getting into JDL, very frustrating) And if neither of these work I would try going to Designs in Digital first, find the week two previews in the Gallery and follow the link posted there. Sorry for those of you having trouble getting the kit!!

New kits, news, and a freebie!

Hi all, lots going on this last week! First, some bad news, Memory Junkies is closing shop. Very sad about this, I enjoyed selling there. I am going to start selling at a new store, it is not quite up and running yet but will be (hopefully) soon. It is called Digital Design Den and I guess they are not really new, they just have been closed for awhile to kind of re-tool things a bit, and now want to reopen just a shop, without forums, galleries and stuff like that. Other news, I have two new kits coming, the first one "The Great Outdoors" is in DigiScrapShop now and the other, a very feminine baby girl kit will be there shortly. Here is a peek at both:

I just barely finished my week 2 challenge at NDIDDS. It was a tough challenge, we got to pick the colors but we had a theme to follow which was Girlfriends. We had to make a 10 paper, 20 embellishment kit in roughly a week and one of those days was Mothers Day so not a whole lot of time to complete this, but lots of late nights and frustration later here is my kit:

CU Eggs and a cu freebie too!

Hope everyone is enjoying the blog train and sale at DigiScrapShop! I just added some CU paper egg sets at DigiScrapShop. (click on the link on the right) They are made from thick textured paper and then decorated with all sorts of yummy decorations. They are in both .psd and .png formats so you can recolor them to match your kits!

New kit! The Great Outdoors and a freebie

I have a new kit at Memory Junkies, it's called "Great Outdoors". It is an (obviously) outdoor themed kit designed with camping, fishing, and hiking adventures in mind. Check it out here

I have also added Winter Wonderland in Memory Junkies as well so be sure to check them out! And now for putting up with my ramblings, on to the freebie! I made some paper labels for journaling, one has a staple, one has an eyelet and one was just left plain. Hope you can use them!

Winter Wonderland and a freebie!

I have a new kit at DIGI SCRAP SHOP, (link is on the right) it is called Winter Wonderland, and I know it is almost spring but it snowed here yesterday and was soooo cold! Brrrrr!! Anyway, I had made this kit a while back and decided to put it in my store, I hope to have it at MEMORY JUNKIES soon as well.
